I have always wanted to get married and to start my life. Everyone tells me to slow down and enjoy my childhood (I’m 17), but I really want to make my future. I love the thought of being married and I always think about it. I really want to get married and I am willing to do so much for it right now.
Loving the thought of it and aspiring to it sounds fine, but "I am willing to do so much for it right now" is worrying. Marriage is amazing IF you take your time to find the right person to marry. If you marry the wrong person then it is fucking awful and turns into a huge mess.
Please don't rush into anything. You can't just walk away from a marriage. There's a lot to untangle and it can take years.
haha thats funny cuz i'm 18 and the thought of marriage dreads me to my core. If your hyped up for marriage, good luck. you'll need it.

I always wanted to get married. I found Mr. Right at age 26, got married at 28 and I LOVE IT!!
Why does your life have to “start” with a partner? Your life started the second you left the uterus.
Wanting to fall in love one day is normal but you need to live your own life and learn how to be happy independent of others. Expecting a future partner to swoop in and save you from a disappointing life is an unfair expectation.
I'm a person who's defended child marriage, and even I say, slow down and wait. At least find someone you want to marry before thinking about marriage.
Leaving? After more than a year? Why would I do such a things as that? I like it here.
