I've been saying this girl for 6 months and we have only talked on the phone maybe 7 times. We text regularly, but I feel it is a little weird that we don't talk. I feel I should take the majority of responsibility as the man, but I get so damn nervous to talk to her. I feel like I'm going to be awkward and have nothing to say while on the phone! What the heck is wrong with me?

    Spend more time with her, improve your relationship. According to you you have been dating for six months, you shouldnt feel awkward after 6 months just talking... So get closer with her

    Dude, that's perfectly normal. I advoid talking to my gf on the phone cause all she wants to talk about is getting married and having kids. And I don't like either of those, except kids, their prety cool.

    I dislike talking on the phone. Its just so awkward... Id rather talk to someone in person to see their reactions and facial expressions or text. I don't see anything wrong with it. To some ppl it matters talking on the phone with their gf/bf. Every relationship is different, talk to her about this and see what she thinks.

    Aww, talking on the phone with someone is the best part. When it's just you and her. And you make her laugh. I love it.

    No I totally agree and I'm a girl. I hate talking on the phone with guys and it's just so much more awkward on the phone. I'd rather just talk in person or text.

    lol yeah, by 6 months nothing should really be awkward. theres plenty of things you can bring up in a conversation, so dont be awkward/nervous about it.
