Tingling won't go away! :(

I woke up this morning with my left arm/hand/fingers tingling. I figured it was cause I was laying on it or something, but it's 8 hours later now, and it's STILL tingling. Well not my arm now, but my hand and fingers are. This used to happen to me before, but it went away. But now it's really annoying me! Is this tingling normal?? I'm a 28-year old female, btw, and in good shape.

Is It Normal?

  • I am having this happen to me. My one dr. was sure I was diabetic, but they did a blood test and I wasn't. My other dr thinks it's Anemia, stress and a vitamin b deficiency. So I am eating less carbs, taking vitamin b - 12 and its helping a little.

  • A pinched nerve causes intermittent tingling and numbness. Most of the time it needs to work itself out but a chiropractor could tell you more.

  • I've had that off and on for years (in my twenties when it started). I've mentioned it to the doctor, and he doesn't seem too worried about it. Check your blood pressure a couple of times a day and your heart rate. That alone may not directly give you an answer, but it could point you in the right direction.

  • Haha maybe it was just an extended phase of pins and needles then :) phew!

Maybe you should see a doctor.
