Taking metformin does not give a diabetic a free pass to eat a birthday cake. You should know that you should be testing your blood every once and awhile to make sure your sugar is in control.
I do test every once in a while but not everyday no because i was not told so its not that bad because if it was i would be on insulin which im not i do check occasionally though yes
