Your argument here would almost work if donteatstuffoffthesidewalk had specifically framed it as just one example among many, but they didn’t do that. It wasn’t an example, they didn’t say or even imply in any way that there are other examples, which means they were disregarding the fact that it happens on the other side. That’s the definition of ignoring something.
