That's murder by extension. However, not mentioning something in an argument does not mean that you are actively ignoring the thing. Above, donteatstuffoffthesidewalk mentioned a specific example; mentioning another example on the opposite side of the political spectrum when there was already an example in play that worked to say what he wanted would be pointless.
This is why I wasn’t going to feed the troll. Not mentioning something doesn’t necessarily mean it’s being ignored, but that is what it means in this specific situation. Context matters. Your argument here would almost work if donteatstuffoffthesidewalk had specifically framed it as just one example among many, but they didn’t do that. It wasn’t an example, they didn’t say or even imply in any way that there are other examples, which means they were disregarding the fact that it happens on the other side. That’s the definition of ignoring something.
