its probably a lot healthier than being just strictly HETEROSEXUAL. i want you to read something i recently read in a philosophy class: melancholy gender (judith butler); butler talks about how the more we repress homosexual urges, the more we repress deeper parts of ourselves. which is why ultimately, the notion of being 'comfortable in your sexuality' is very relevant here. to be comfortable is not to be afraid.
as a girl, i have less trouble with gender distinctions (were conditioned not to be so 'heterosexual' and strict with our sexualities); i HAVE actually made out with friends, which didn't turn me on or anything. but i urge you to read the butler text.shes' a bit of a controversial woman, but nonetheless interesting.
