    Not too much up on the whole manosphere thing but im pretty sure it's just a bunch of people who can't get laid getting mad and projecting it on people who do have sex. This topic is pretty good evidence for this.

        I think youre actually the one who got me looking at this crap. The problem is that these are people who don't get out into the world enough to have a realistic view of how human interactions work. "people told me to learn guitar to get girls so I learned guitar and It didn't result in women showing up to my house and throwing themselves at me"

          Yeah, learning guitar is great, but you have to be out and about amongst people, preferably playing gigs in a band or solo.

          Yanno, the funny thing about all of this is that lately I've been really isolating myself, think it's probably not good, but... it's probably related to a mental health thing or perhaps my awful blood pressure medications, and the like are causing it.

            Isolation isn't the best but it happens. Long as you're not hating the world because "everyone else is having an orgy right now but me because the whole world hates me" you're ahead of a lot of people.

              I don't know what an oubliette is but it seems to be a French word and I infer it's a small hiding/forgetting place. Haha. I'll look it up, though, to see if I'm way off!

Some guys want the few women that will look at them, to accept their empathy, because they realize that the recognition of mature concern is far more powerful than capitulation into a sea of despair.     Ok, ok... I just heard of this so called Manosphere and I don't agree at all. I agree that people shouldn't be treating sex like shit, but that doesn't mean you can't have it! Fuck pornhub, sex used to be an art. Both women and men were equal! So when you and your partner love each other and you both want to have a special night together where you both can spend time, then have sex if you want to. It's all about making a future. I don't feel comfortable in sex myself, but that has to do with me... So yeah... Don't get angry dude

        The Manosphere is an internet echo-chamber created by a bunch of guys with varying degrees of self-pity, social ineptitude and misogyny.

        As has happened with the OP here, anyone spending time in the echo-chamber finds lots of people there who are desperate to help new contacts sink to the lowest common denominator.
