I am unsure if the information I will give is completely true but it's what I have been told.
My room mate has a service dog so I have done some research into service animals. As far as what I have learned, only dogs are used as service animals.
Other animals can be used as emotional support animals. These can be anything from a cat to a slug. They do not need to be trained and are not entitled to be anywhere the owner goes.
Many people pretend to have service animals to bring them when they are in fact emotional support animals.
Someone can correct me if I am wrong about this as I am not 100% sure and this information is only based off what I've been told.
They need to outlaw cats as service animals, I almost died
