  • Ohhhhhh I cannot STAND when people misuse "their", "they're", and "there". It hurts me on the inside, for real. How can people be that stupid? Especially if they're old enough to have passed the 6th grade. It just goes to show you how stupid today's young generation is as an average. Another thing that bugs the living bejeebers out of me is the misuse of "you're" and "your". I think that disturbs me than the "their", "they're", and "there" misuse, actually.

    For you youngsters out there, here's a little tip to help you appear more educated in the real world, as well as the internet world:

    "Your" is to describe something of which you possess. "You lost your minds." Or "Your cat ran away."

    "You're" is a contraction, to simplify the words "You are". Examples would be "You're happy." Or "You're in the kitchen making lunch."
