Let me first say I have had a few boyfriends in the past, and have never EVER had this problem before. Now,my boyfriend and I have currently been dating for over 3 months. He is supportive, fun, generous, and I really adore him. I couldnt ask for more. I normally dont have issues with being social, and can be quite out going....but when I'm around him, I go into a slight daze, end up just listening to him talk, pulling a blank when he asks me things, getting VERY clumsy, tongue tied, ect. I am kinda wondering what is wrong with me, and if this is "Normal". I didnt start out the relationship like this, but it feels like it's getting worse. I dont want him to think I have this retarded personality, because this isnt me when I'm around anyone else. It's like he's this tranquilizer. I get so relaxed around him, but I feel kind of like a zombie, and that can't be fun for him to be dating some sort of drone...it's certainly not for me to be one. I've never had to really work to have a mind of my own before around anyone, so I'm kind of wondering what's my issue. Help? Anyone?

    He likes you as you are, that is why he is still going out with you, so relax. Be the girl he 1st fell in love with.

    I think her problem in that she is too relaxed...duh...emphasis on ZOMBIE

    LOL, snezpah.. i was thinking the same thing.

    I think you just need to relax. Sometimes thinking too much about it may cause the problem to get worse.

    My gf did the same to me for a while. At first I felt as if I bored her, but then we had a talk about it and she explained that she liked me so much that she was scared I wouldn't like her personality. Maybe just talk to him and explain what's going on. This way you can also find out his feelings on it, like if he thinks it's a big deal or not. Good luck :)

    I think you just really like him. I was clumsy around my boyfriend too, on our first date I fell getting out the car...lol just remember he is just another person like everyone else and relax!!
