The way my memory works

Ok so my memory is very weird. I can, at 22, remember childhood memories from as early as 3, I remember the full name of my first true crush, memorize entire movie scripts, memorize every word, every instrument and the time length of a song after listening to it 3 or 4 times, but yet I can't remember what someone says to me 3 minutes later and it's hard for me to remember directions. Why is this? I also have an unusual interest in weather and climate and can tell you the climate type and the average and record temperatures for pretty much any place on earth, but yet I can't remember to tie my shoes or remember what I ate for breakfast. So is this normal?

I, at 21, can remember all the things you can remember. This is totally normal. I'll be getting out of the shower and then asking myself, 2 minutes, later: "Wait, did I take a shower?" Its unbelievable.

You have problems with kinestetic learning, and your mind runs on autopilot. It's not a big deal.
