When you reach a certain level of mental development and awareness.
After that point you will pretty much ignore the war, and either treat people politely who know that they can no longer affect you, or cut them out of your life as much as possible.
You ignore the war because you know that you have already won it, and aren't going to waste your time with the people still trying to fight yesterday's battles.
The people who understand the war is over are people you are polite with.
The ones who are stuck in the past are the ones you cut out of your life. Let them fight someone else - or perhaps a brick wall.
Yes, but nice things aren't too easy, I didn't say they weren't easy. And let me tell you something, I was never a disagreeing character even when anybody hated me, you like me. And thank you so much for your so-called "advice".

Nothing worth doing is easy.
There are a lot of nice things in life that are easy; but, add little - if any - long term value to your life.
