The voices won't stop

I'm victim to very sensitive hearing. If I close my eyes and focus, I can hear my cat breathing from the other room, cars very far away, the neighbors phones ring. I also hear fast whispering and sometimes I can make out what they say other times I cant, sometimes I will hear screaming and I don't know if it's real or not so I ignore it. I also can sometimes hear a little bit of what people are thinking if their breathing loudly. Is this normal or am I a complete nut case?

Is It Normal?

  • You seriously should talk to a professional. It's not a joke.

  • You could be An empath, psychic, have sensitive ears, and/or be having auditory hallucinations, which are common with psychotic disorders such as schizophrenia or bipolar disorder. If you don't have a history of mental illness (as schizophrenia is found early) you could be suffering from mixed mania induced bipolar episodic disturbance called psychosis. Undiagnosed bipolar maybe?
Seek a professional for a second a opinion, even if it's not interfering with life too much. Good luck!
