Okay, it goes planet < solar system < galaxy < universe. I think I heard on a documentary the size of the universe? How the fuck can the universe end?
Our universe is in an atom of a bigger universe. Time, space, and size are all infinite.
It's not very common knowledge but beyond the boundaries of the universe are the things that were there before the big bang.
On the telly "Big bang theory" is preceeded by "Friends" so it would seem that if you went beyond the limits of space, you'd just find a bunch of mates talking shite and telling lame jokes.
i think of it as a pacman map, u go to a end of 1 wall, keep going and coming out in the other side to the same map only universe is kinda bigger. its also not proven. just my theory.
I'm with StrangeDuckDude's theory. I wish we knew about those other universes though. I'm sick of humans!! Let's discover another being!!!!! Wouldn't that be so awesome!
What we call "the universe" may be like one bubble in an endlessly boiling kettle of water... there may be a finite number of these universes at a given moment, but they are constantly being born and dying in some higher "meta-spacetime." Maybe we've all existed "before" and will exist in "the future" an infinite number of times, with every possible variation in ourselves and our world! Or maybe "time" is an illusion local to our universe, and all the above is happening in one instant of "now." (Sorta cool when you think about it.)
The universe isn't infinite.It ends in itself.
There aren't infinite things.Only self regenerating and transforming things.

Anyway,stable doesn't really mean anything since nothing stays still.Stable for how long?

Means that everything exists.
Space is infinite but not at the same time, there is an edge of space where nothing exists( light, matter, gravitational pull) but if you could reach it then it would stop being an empty space because you would occupy it with your body matter and your own gravitational pull however small that might be). So technically you could never reach the end of the universe but in theory it does exist.
The human mind can't grasp the concept of infinity all we no is that it is very large and endless.
