The times i give the most meaningful advice i'm in a depressed state.

The times I seem to be most helpful on here are when I'm in a deeply despairing mood. I feel that focusing on helping others will help ease my pain for a bit, and it actually does help distract me and make me feel better. It's easier to focus at these times as well because I'm usually too antsy to sit down and really read everything the OP/commentor has said then give them my full input.

I'd say it's normal, you probably get more introspective when you're already feeling down, or something like that..

It's normal to perform better on certain things when your physical state or mood is far from it. I tend to be my best self, give my best advice, and be more aware when I'm tired. It's unusual, but it's normal.

  • I don't really give meaningful advice, but if i did i'd probably do it during a time i feel more relaxed, or more emotional

Like after i fuck some girl.

You probably feel more open while you're depressed.

... Or some shit. I don't know what the fuck im talking about, buttfuck it ima post this anyway.

I do this, too. I throw myself into other people's problems, because then I feel capable, and they distract me from my own. It can help, but if I do it too frequently, it can be unhealthy. I can exhaust myself emotionally that way, and I sometimes neglect my own needs and don't deal with things that I need to work through.

The times I give the most meaningful advice is when I'm BORED, because then I actually take the time to properly think about what to write since I have nothing better to do at that point in time.

Yea, it happens. depression have a way of showing you things how they really are, not how you'd wanted them to be
