    I'd be upset that A asked me to come in the first place. But I would've sensed those 'feelings' that they were having for each other while hanging out with them so I would've left soon anyway.

    I wouldn't go, it would be awkward, I wouldn't want to ruin his/her chances and I wouldn't want to spend time with that particular guy/girl right now anyway.

    She/he was being a bit of a douche leaving it to the last minute to blow me off for a girl/guy.

    That disappointing night would suck, but if she/he made it up to me I wouldn't mind too much.

    I wouldn't go, but I'd be secretly annoyed at being being cast off at short notice like that. I'd expect A make it up to me later, providing that A does get with B after all we can all go out together in a less awkward way.
