Well thats good. Lol. Weird name for a syndrome for noises in the head.
This would explain the noise, but a shadow figure gave it to me. I don't think it relates due to that simple fact.
You sound like as if you're distant from him/her. Like your commenting on a disease from a doctors standpoint. When was the last time that you saw it? If you don't mind me asking, you don't have to answer if you don't want to.
I always will respond, and answer any questions. I saw it two days ago.
I had just finished all my work for the day (I'm a Marine), and had come home to relax.
My barracks room was dark, and my roommate was asleep. I did my normal and layed on my bed. When i turned over it stood before me, and I froze in place.
It was only a few seconds this time, and the noise in my head blasted away.
After that he just vanished from in front of me.
The sound in my head.

It's not that literal. The syndrome just means that you hear a loud sound every so often. Don't worry your head will still be intact :)

Have you ever tried talking to the figure? Tried reasoning with him to make the noise go away?

The figure paralyzes the body. It makes you unable to speak, and your
body unable to move. When touched by the figure one passes out.
