When I was twelve a dark figure awoke
me. I never saw its face, or anything so I cant discribe it other then that it appeared to be a human shaped shadow.
It put its hand on my forehead. Then I passed out, and when I awoke it was gone.
I see this figure once in a while to this day, but thats not my problem. I blame
It for this noise I hear in my head. Its random, but when I hear it. It sounds simmilar to the sound you hear in a conch, but with a deeper louder hum.
Please help me. I have nothing wrong with me other then this sound.

        It's a "guy" from a scary game called Slender and it sneaks up on you during the game and scares the shit out of you.

    Exploding head syndrome. If your a fan of Doctor Who the syndrome is basically like the sound of drums that The Master hears frequently in the show.

        It's not that literal. The syndrome just means that you hear a loud sound every so often. Don't worry your head will still be intact :)

          Well thats good. Lol. Weird name for a syndrome for noises in the head.
          This would explain the noise, but a shadow figure gave it to me. I don't think it relates due to that simple fact.

              The figure paralyzes the body. It makes you unable to speak, and your
              body unable to move.When touched by the figure one passes out.

    How often do you hear this sound?

    Is it just at night? I heard a similar sound when I was younger and had pretty much the exact same thing happen to me.

      Its very random, but hear it every other day. Its creepy at times. Glad I met some one similar.

        I was being kind of vague. The figure you mentioned. Late at night, I'd wake up and see dark figures, and feel a weight on me, and I couldn't speak. And the thing I remember the most is that loud brushing sound probably the same sound you heard. Are you hearing in the middle of the day? Or at night in between sleep?

          I hear it while I am awake. The dark figure has always followed me. I believe its the same shadow, but I do not know.

            So outside walking? Have you ever felt really sleepy when you heard the sound, or before you heard it? Any events of passing out or narcolepsy?

            And when did it first happen, and I need details please.
