Yeah thats why I never get the argument "I would rather work than stay home" I think if they had a husband who made a lot of money they would stay home. And that would probably go vice versa too.
But I wonder how many women think like "I want a husband that stays at home while I work"? Do most women really want a man that they have to take care of? I bet its not as many who actively want that.
I mean speaking for myself I would like to think that the man at home should be doing SOMETHING to help as far as contributing to at home duties and not just sitting on their ass. If it comes to watching kids (such as some of the comments on here have used for example) I would want them to contribute in something more than being a couch potato and calling that “watching the kids” because then we are not equal. Basically this is all leading up to the pos’s who mooch off of people and call it “parenting” or doing so much when they’re not doing anything at all. Same goes the other way around for females. Don’t sit on your ass and have your kids raise each other because you’re too lazy to do anything and live in filth while the father is out working his ass off. It’s gotta be equal in more than just The Who’s working more or at all and making the money/more money aspect.
It’s just gotta even out in all areas for it to not be annoying/mooching. Both ways.
From what you say I dont know if you even know my position. I dont think men should sit on the couch and not help clean. But if the man is out working 65 hours a week and the wife is already at home without a job its not too much to ask for her to cook and clean atleast on the weekdays when the man isnt home.
Oh yeah I agree with ya. I read it another way, my bad. But definitely also agree with it should be the same the other way around as well 👍🏼 But you right!
