The need to have coffee with wine

It's nothing new but I mix coffee with wine. The result is a grapy coffee, tasting of 17.5% alcohol. It makes sense on a hard day as Puritan drinking it for 60 minutes, but then again it doesn't make sense why a rule has to be made in my own house and that breaking rules makes people angry.
I do ideology, I don't care about the irrational desires of the angry mob, as a regalist I should have supreme power, not the other way around.

Coffee, and wine both give me awful acid reflux.

I can't drink both because my stomach would get very upset.
If I decide to drink wine i'll have to avoid coffee that evening.

If it works for you, go for it. Personality I can't stand the taste of coffee or alcohol. People keep telling me they're tastes a person eventually gets used to but I never got to that point. Lol

It’s not a good combination because coffee is a stimulant and alcohol is a depressant. You’re sending your body mixed signals.

Yeah, I pretty much can stay awake on coffee-wine, but I suppose you're right, depressants probably ought to go without stimulants. I remember what the word coffee comes from, qāwah, meaning coffee, wine. I suppose you know better.
