I get a big paperclip and pull the outer end up so it almost resembles the general shape of a pistol, then I get pliers and bend about 1/16" at a 90° angle pointing down. This is the best itch relief I have found. I know "Not Recommended", well try it slow and easy and you might be suprised at the piles of yuck you can pull from your ears. P.S. Doctors do have reason of ear wax. It sticks dust to itself so it won't reach the inside part of your ears. Insects don't go inside your ears because of the wax. I would recommend not cleaning off all the ear wax although sometimes it's necessary to clean the dust stuck on the wax.
