The idea of certain sexual practices less apealing when played out

I find often that whenever I have a sexual desire it always looses the titillation I experience by the the original thought of it after seeing it, such as: I can find the Idea of X (no pun intended) to be arousing but when I see porn of it I feel indifferent at best.

Is It Normal?

    I feel like I am the same way,not just with sex, but in general. No matter what the situation, reality can never live up to your imagination. It's sad, but true. You daydream about something, and it seems so fabulous, so fantastic, but then once you actually experience that said thing, in real time, you become disillusioned and disappointed.
