  • I still consider myself a democrat because I still agree with a lot of the core traditional left leaning values and opinions. But dear lord has the radical left imploded nearly, if not worse, than the far right. the majOrity of the pc, woke, identity politics culture is shit in my opinion. Its weird though I live in a pretty left leaning area and everyone i know seems to think the same thing, they hate a lot of the pc and new radical left stuff too. because of the extreme polarization's of the left and right...I feel more more purple by the day. Good thing is There are lot of good voices on the left IMO speaking out against these unsightly parts of the left. I only hope those voices don't get drowned out by the nonsense on the far left that seems to be growing by the day.

    • When this all started in the 90s, it was known as political tribalism. Eventually, Comrade Putin took note that polarization begets more polarization by rupturing the mechanisms of compromise in parliamentary and congressional democratic processes. Now, he is on a mission to cause maximum breakage with minimal albeit unnoticeable tweeks. First world business and industry is fine, but the political machinery, which never has had much consequence is having even less.

To his credit, Mr Putin's IQ is far higher than any other world leader, or attendee at the last Mensa meeting I suffered thru. And so, I pose the Socratic question, is international meddling with domestic politics not the aggregate sum of conspiracies initiated by special interest to enhance global influence?
