  • So in other words you expect anyone who does not comply with your moral code and ideology to be celibate. Can you not see how ridiculous that is? Who the hell are you to control the consensual sex lives of grown adults? Didn’t Jesus say not to judge? Then how is it so many Christians take it upon themselves to judge others? Also about this “time of judgement”, firstly it only matters to you because you believe such a bunch of crap with zero evidence except some book written not by “god” but by flawed ancient humans over 2000 years ago. Newsflash - times have changed. Women are no longer chattel and you’re allowed to eat shellfish so maybe quit cherry-picking to validate your distorted and superstitious belief system. Second if there is going to be any judgment it’s going to on the insecure hypocritical people who go around thinking it’s up to them to judge and control other people and thereby causing much suffering and harm. God is just going to stop you all at the gates and declare “ I told you all not to fucking judge, you FAILED, bye” Why is it so many of your priests and pastors turn out to be such perverts? The Roman Catholic Church has been exposed as nothing more than a pedophile cult. If anyone needs to change it’s Christians.

    • I prefer it, not expect it. I know many people because this world is a world filled with sin. I have no control of the lives of other adults; that's what governments are for. Technically, Jesus said this:

"[1] Judge not, that you may not be judged, [2] For with what judgment you judge, you shall be judged: and with what measure you mete, it shall be measured to you again. [3] And why seest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye; and seest not the beam that is in thy own eye? [4] Or how sayest thou to thy brother: Let me cast the mote out of thy eye; and behold a beam is in thy own eye? [5] Thou hypocrite, cast out first the beam in thy own eye, and then shalt thou see to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye." - Matthew 7:1-5

Confession and repentence are our ways of "cast[ing] out first the beam in [our] own eye[s]." Your beliefs have no evidence, either. Prove your beliefs to be true; you can't. No beliefs can be proven true until the day of judgement. The Bible never claims women to be "chattel", in fact, Paul says to treat them with respect, so your is nonsense. Jesus himself said that we are allowed to eat shellfish. What matters in the end are the intentions of the action taken, not the action itself. The pedophilia problem was a real thing that was adressed by the church. It's pretty much gone, now.
