Curiously, I was going to ask the story again, now we've got lots of new people on the site, but I guess they can just post on the old one now.

    • Whoa...I never knew you submitted stories/polls. I thought about this recently as well...

      • Yeah, I post every now and again. Most of them are jokey ones that don't get many replies. In fact, there was a post here asking what things we'd posted and I posted a list of mine on that. I don't keep them secret.

Hope I've been nice to you on the ones you've posted! :)

        • You posted the one about gluing a fake lion's mane to your crotch and playing a lion's roar on a tape recorder whenever somebody got too close, right?

          • Okay, now that's just witchcraft. Who are you and how did you know about this? That's genuinely scary. You know me WAY too well.

And, yep, it was me. I got three replies to that one, and one of them was myself. I think it was Christmas time and I was probably drunk to a degree that most people have yet to experience.

            • Wasn't hard to figure out, you anonimously posted the catchphrase you were using back then on it. The story just stuck in my mind because it was so bizarre and hilarious.

              • So I did. I didn't even notice. Wow, what a time that was. I'd pretty much lost my family and my girlfriend in short order and spending Christmas Day alone wasn't fun. I felt like a failure.
