In the past, maybe others called you bitter or a loser or a virgin for having the views you hold. Maybe they're right, maybe they aren't. But don't use statements like these as some sort of shield. That's ego-protection and it will hurt your growth as a confident man.
Please make an effort to separate the person (whomever they are in real life) from their comments related to interactions/observations. Because someone makes an observation regarding a given environment (in this case the website specifically) does not in any way lead to the conclusion that this person is in fact any of those things...it just that person being capable of predicting a predisposed response based on observations of past behavior.
You're smarter than the average cookie so I think you can comprehend what I am trying to type here.
If your closing statement was just a prediction, reasoned only out of logic, then it is just that.
But in the world of persuasion, we humans are moist robots where emotion drives our reason. Our observations are tainted by our feelings. The taint is so powerful not even scientists are immune.
Whatever your motivations, I'll stress once more: to be a confident man, you must be outcome independent.
