Cutting through the generalisations you're making about countries, it sounds like you have some fear about the huge step you're making in your life. That's entirely normal. I have a German friend who married an Englishman. She likes it here but misses Germany. I put the idea in her head of swapping countries every ten years, so ten years in Germany, ten years here, and so on. I was half-joking but now they're actually going to do it. Maybe you could do the same?
