In France, the trend there is to be as natural as possible; maybe hippy is a bit far, but in the same ballpark. So most women there probably use make-up to make them look clean and flawless rather than flashy, and don't feel the need to shave to be beautiful; freedom to be naturally you.
Basically, come to America. Here, we're taught that shaving and wearing make-up is something we MUST do to please any potential partners; if not shaven then we're shamed or looked over.
However, since you're really shallow, look for a woman who doesn't mind such body maintenance, because a lot of us just do it to please the other, but once we feel comfortable will slow down on it thinking you love us for who we are.
