Terrified of vomiting

I've had a fear of vomiting for all my life.. whenver I see someone do.it I start shaking... my mom grounded me for not helping her when she threw up. When I tell people this theu think I'm lying.

Is It Normal?

    it's doesn't feel nice to vomit. i'm not terrified, but i try not to vomit.

        really? whoa. not trying to be disgusting or anything but the times i do 'vomit', it's mostly because i was getting rid of the phlegm in my throat. nasty shit.

    I feel the same, I think that it`s totally unecessary for people to puke, unless theyv`e eaten something poisonous. I really wish that we were like rats, & couldn`t vomit.

    Repetition has a way of creating normalcy in our minds even on things we tie negative emotions too.

    If you watched several videos of someone vomiting, I'd imagine you would lose your fear of it.

    Regardless, normal.

    It's not normal, but it is a phobia, I have it too. I know it's called Emetofobie in dutch, don't know the English term for it. But it really is horrific, it's horrible and it can change your whole lifestyle if it gets worse.

    I am the same way!! It terrifies me!! I start shaking and I fain sometimes!! I'll cry or run away!! I don't like it!!
