  • For many people, the World is already a horrible place.
I try to do what I can to make my remaining time on planet Earth as palatable as possible. I eat a healthy diet and exercise my mind and body etc.
I don't let the things I have no control over get me down.
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming, 'Wow! What a Ride'! ~Hunter S. Thompson

    • Well he made sure his journey to the grave wasn't in a pretty or well preserved body... unless your referring to the pretty big hole the gun made in his head. I can imagine him proclaiming 'Wow did you hear that loud noise?'

      • Poor Hunter had major medical problems, physical and mental. He felt he was a burden to his friends and associates. He always stated that he never wanted to burden anyone with his existence.

    • I certainly can't disagree with any of what you've posted. My personal motto has been 'never a dull minute' and my greatest fear is to die regretting the things I HAVEN'T done.
