The issue, is that you are being dishonest, because you are afraid you won't get what you want if you tell the truth. You have way too much attachment to your own selfish desires, and completely lack respect for other people's beliefs. Your motives toward her are dishonorable, and self serving.
You don't have to be a Christian, but you need Jesus, because you don't have a moral compass, and your attitude is making atheists look bad.
