Many Americans do drink tea and although hot tea isnt as big of a deal as ice tea the cold tea products seem to be very popular especially in the summer. Though to get up in the morning everyone seems to drink coffee so even if they dont drink it all the time everyone drinks it to wake up. As well as tea being considered a DIET product. So its not like most countries don't drink tea.
