Tattoo on neck

Ok so I was thinking about getting a tattoo on my neck of a prehistoric bird called arceopterax and It simples as the survival of the dinosaurs into birds. It's a very nice tattoo. Quite small but I was thinking about getting it on my neck. It would look really good however. I heard alot of effects like having a hard time getting a job. But I heard that there are products that could cover your skin to hide tattoos and stuff now that I could use to go on interviews for jobs. So should I get it there or not?,

I would not get a tattoo on my neck. Facial and neck tattoos make others automatically think a certain way about you that is negative a lot of times.

Even though they are more popular they are still trashy imo.

It really depends what kind of field you're working in or towards. If you're going into a creative field or one that isn't customer facing it may not matter as much, visible tattoos as long as they're tasteful are becoming more and more acceptable.

If you're trying to be say a teacher, maybe don't go for one on your neck. There are definitely makeups that can hide it, performers use this kind of stuff all the time the question is, is it worth it for you to spend that money and have to cover it up every day? Really think about that and how much time it might add and if you want to do that if you're going to be working a job that will require it to be covered up.

It sounds like a cool tattoo but don't get it on the neck. Neck tats give off kind of a trashy vibe most of the time. And it definitely might affect job interviews, especially if you work with the public.

Getting it on your arm, chest, or pretty much anywhere below the neck would be better. If you're concerned about interviews, somewhere where it's covered by your shirt would be best. Then, you could just wear sleeveless stuff when you want to show it. No product is going to be able to hide it for a job interview.
