The reason I talk about this around my friends is because they are a fan of the game this character is from. But not being able to "vent" about these specific feelings I have to others can be difficult. Thanks for the advice!

I do not think it is bad to crush at a fictional character that much, but you should keep it private and do not bring it up in conversations.
You should definetly still keep it an intiative with real-life relationships when you have the chance to.
I am curious, what is the characters name and from where ? :o
