Suggest me some metal to listen to

I want to ask some of you this because I want to add some paprika to my Spotify playlist and I wanted to ask is there any metal songs to listen to. ( I don't mind about the band nor the song name ). I want to get a better taste in it because I feel like my tastes are a bit narrow and a bit outdated.

I don't mind if its: death, thrash, nu, experimental, glam, gothic, stoner, speed, extreme, doom, rap, black and so on ( I gave a few examples what I'm into so its not a too long didn't read situation. )

Help us keep this site organized and clean. Thanks!

    I usually listen to the classics:

    * Gold
    * Silver
    * Iron
    * Copper
    * Nickel
    * Aluminium
    * Mercury
    * Titanium

    If you want to try something different, get your hands on:

    * Rhodium (extremely rare)
    * Gallium (good vibrations)
    * Beryllium (invisible to x-rays)
    * Ruthenium (can burn forever)

    There's a whole crop of rare metal out there too:

    Lanthanum, cerium, praseodymium, neodymium, promethium, samarium, europium, gadolinium, terbium, dysprosium, holmium, erbium, thulium, ytterbium, lutetium, scandium, yttrium ... To name a few.

    I'm more into a gothic metal, melodic death metal, and death metal. I try to find "new" metal/goth bands I haven't heard of.

    I suggest these bands:

    Lacuna Coil
    Dark Tranquility
    Wolfheart
    Aetherian
    Bloodbath
    Nocturnal Bloodlust
    Vintersea
    Insomnium
    Lord Of The Lost
    Mono INC.
    Ad Infinitum
    Rage Of The Light
    Dust In Mind
    Bloodred Hourglass

    My guilty pleasure bands are:
    Asking Alexandra (old songs)
    Bullet For My Valentine
    Breaking Benjamin
    Killswitch Engage
    Arch Enemy
    Shadow Of Intent

      breaking Benjamin and Arch Enemy are awesome guilty pleasures! I saw both of them live (BB with five finger death punch, and AE with Trivium)

      Ps: first three are top quality

    Here's a few: I'm not sure if they count as metal though:

    Mark Morton - Cross Off

    Falling In Reverse - Popular Monster

    Hollywood Undead - Heart of a champion

    Starset - Trials
    (I'm actually tired of this one. It's played on like, every radio station near me, but I think it's worth a listen)

    Limits - Bad Omens

    Avoid - Song About James

    Zero 9:36 - Adrenaline
    (the rock portion kicks in in the second verse)

    Breathe Again - Pop Evil

    Blind Guardian, they’re speed metal and power metal. Start with the album A Night at the Opera.

    I enjoy Babymetal and would recommend it for someone looking for unique metal, but I think it is for specific tastes; it’s in Japanese and the subgenre is kawaii metal and j-metal.

    I listen to well known metal artists like Avenged Sevenfold, Rob Zombie, Marilyn Manson, Korn, and Hollywood Undead. A bit of The Birthday Massacre (industrial and gothic metal) too, I’m not sure how popular they are.

    I like The Bunny The Bear as well and listen to them regularly, they aren’t technically metal but they have aspects that remind me of metal, they’re actually a screamo band.

      I thank you for the suggestion.

    Just a question how does heavy metal hardcore work for you? It grates against my soul honestly. Where does demon hunter rank on the list? That's about as high of stuff I listen to. If its basic as fuck dont worry.

      Thats your opinion. No one else's. What matters is our taste is unique, sure you might have different tastes than other people on music but I can tell you music will always be music.

      If your opinion is honest ok fair enough I respect that but its not going to stop me and other people from listening to metal. However I wouldn't go too far and say a specific genre is for losers though.
