Suddenly can't hear anything and ringing in my ears?

Sometimes all the sound gets blocked in one or both ears and all I can hear is ringing. This gradually goes away after a few seconds but it's kind of common.

Nothing to worry about, it will be a god send when the wife starts nagging at you, just look at her smile, nod & she won't suspect a thing happy times!!!

I hate to tell you that this could be very serious because in December I went suddenly deaf in one ear - and it hasn't returned. The tinnitus is driving me insane, as it's like someone blowing a whistle beside me!

Anyway I've been laid up for 6 months with vertigo and unable to walk coz I've no balance. The hospital have done various tests, washing my ears out, tested me following lights, brain scan for a tumour, gave me a hearing aid, etc but no change. You may be able to sort out whatever I have if you catch it at an early stage. Please get it checked ASAP!

odly enough, i can make my ears ring on their own for however long i want to, but im also slightly concerned. I wouldnt worry about it too much, however if you are, then see a doctor to put your mind at ease :)

You should see a doctor - it could mean your hearing has been damaged.
