Study of co-workers

I have just become a manager at my job. We have monthly meetings where we discuss issues and solutions. Long story short, every single one of the managers are fuccin weird.I'm talking twilight zone weird. The way they communicate with each other is very low level. The concepts that are discussed are kindergarten in my opinion. I'm not sure if it's because I'm new to the management team and I have fresh ideas or what. But anyway they all look like something from the hills have eyes. Rotted teeth and the whole bit. We get paid good money so I don't understand. Am I digging too deep into this?
