Stubbed toe then fainted iin?

Last night my I opened a door on my foot and my toe started to bleed. I put a bandaid on it and thought it'd be fine. But I started to feel faint. I got the gray dots in my vision and laid down in bed to pass out.

I feel so stupid. My toe was bleeding that was it. It's not like I got my arm ripped off. And I know I've gotten into worse scrapes without fainting. But I admit it's been awhile since I shed blood. It's so weird my toe doesn't even hurt. is it normal to faint over something so small.
