My parents used to make me bring a big rock with me every where I went when I played outside when I was little.
We called it the “Ice checker” and it was so I could throw it on ice to see if it was safe to walk on.
There were no ponds or water anywhere around us.
I think they just had me bring it around so I would tire out quicker and not go too far lmfao
So your parents made you lug around a rock that weighed as much as you did?
I guess that's one way to build muscle mass, bone density and character.
I don't directly remember this; I remember my mother telling me about it afterwards and being a little freaked out that I couldn't remember doing it.
When I was in the early years of grade school - possibly First Grade - I came down with something that gave me a high fever. My mother said she heard me get up in the night and go to the bathroom upstairs, but she didn't hear me go back to bed, so she came up to check on me. She found me standing at the bathroom window staring at a tree outside which had a large tent-caterpillar nest in its branches and mumbling about the ghost that had got caught in the tree.
I remember projectile vomiting across the dining room table after dinner one evening. I was a small child, maybe 8 years old or younger. I comforted myself by thinking technically about the content of the vomit and said to my dad, 'It's all watery. Dad, is this vomit mostly water?' He looked at me, bemused.
To this day I still comfort myself when sick or upset by trying to understand the technical/medical/psychological side of what's happening. I watch medical and psychology videos on YouTube. When my grandmother died 5 years ago I got rabidly into a mortician YouTuber.
The first time I saw an interracial couple I pointed and asked my mom questions. I am from the north after all and back then 99% of the population up here was white.
Eating carrots gave me projectile vomit. My dad got so pissed. I remember the first one I ever ate. He was like son eat your veggies. I plucked my fork into It took a bite and yup vomit everywhere 1 second later
My earliest memory is when I was 2 years old, I was at the zoo and I was in my pram and and elephant threw hay all over me and I was eating a sandwich with watercress in it and hay got in it so I threw it on the floor. I also remember looking at the watercress before hand and thinking someone had put leaves in my sandwich by mistake.
When I was a kid (around 8) I used to watch all super hero stuffs like how Spiderman got his powers after being bitten by a spider. I thought electricity can make me "Electroman". So one time I bit a live wire and received the worst electric shock of my life in my mouth. I survived, but till this day (in my 30s now) I have been some speech difficulty, my tongue was slightly damaged and have an electrophobia..
Throwing dirty laundry at the hamper, if it didn't go in I'd pick it up go back and try again XD
God there is so many. My neighbor one time pooped on a plastic plate and put sprinkles on it and left it on the neighbors porch. Then his dog walked over and ate it.
When I was with my family on vacation when I was about 10, a random old lady noticed my younger sister and I and asked my mom if she could take a photo of us. My mom said yes and the old lady took a pic. There was no explanation given and I sometimes wonder about it
I remember penis inspection day at school. It was really weird; Idk why it only happened to a few of us.
I remember a female friend trying to grope my boobs and insisting we take a bath together. It made me feel really strange. Looking back i dont think she was gay just curious.
As a fifteen year old boy, walking to school with one of these on under my uniform.
