Some "mediocre" weed is laced with K2 (JWH-018 or other JWH compounds) to increase it's potency. I see people lacing brick weed with it and not telling people they sold it to. K2 makes me high, but in others it increases heart rate, causes anxiety, and creates headaches. Probably was laced with K2.
