Strange feelings of love

So iv'e been single for roughly four years now but there's something which confuses me. For a few years now, at random occasions, i can feel that i am in love. The strange thing is that i get this feeling outta nowhere. I don't do anything special or see anyone at the time that i'm feeling this. Yes it's the feeling of love where you feel big butterflies in your stomach. I can just sit alone in the living room doing nothing and suddenly get this feeling. I don't love anyone at the moment. I just wonder why this happens and does anyone know what this might be? Is it normal?
