    I would end the friendship. I can't take the risk of a guy being attracted to me. Just thinking about it makes me sick to my stomach.

          No. Because you are a bigot. Why discriminate against a guy who has been your best friend just cause he likes guys. There ain't nothing wrong with that man. He's not forcing you to change yourself. He's not hitting on you. So why not accept him for who he is.

            I would accept the fact that he's gay. But i just wouldn't accept him as a friend anymore. I mean, look at all the questions posted on this site asked by gay guys who are crushing on their straight best friend. I wouldn't want something like that happen to me. It would be really awkward. It's just...i can't even imagine the shame.

              Come on now. All gay guys don't hit on their straight friends. The chance of that is one in hundred.
              And even if he does fall for you, just take it as a compliment and move on. Reject him respectfully. But why would you lose a friend over it?
