Stinging and sensitivity around the vaginal area

I didn't think much of this at first, although it's been happening for the better half of a few weeks now, and I'm slightly concerned.

Before it actually started happening, I masturbated quite a bit, but not to the point where it would become a pain to do so.
I've stopped since and find it hard to touch the area at all, having it sting even when do trivial things like go to the toilet.

A lot has gone through my mind during the medical induced anxiety and I've been wondering if semi-frequent use of marijuana could have anything to do with what's causing it.

I've been contemplating seeing a Gynecologist, but I've just been too scared of the result that I might get from them.

It's becoming a real problem in my relationship as well, since I can't provide for my partner sexually without feeling pain.

I guess I'm just seeking clarity in asking if anyone else has had this sort of thing happen to them under the circumstances.

Thanks, Claire

    Hey love!

Can't tell you if it's normal or not, but I can almost guarantee you that marijuana has nothing to do with it. BUT, I am not an expert so I'd say check with a gyno that you know and trust.

    Good luck!
