Still hurts after 5 years?

I can't speak from the same experience but emotional trauma will never go away until you choose to put it behind you. That is really hard because there was no justice in your situation. Bad things happen to many people - rape being one of the worst - but millions of people suffer physical, emotional, mental, even spiritual damage and have to go on with their lives. Getting to know God might help.
