If it lasts many years it could be a mild form of Tourette's, also potentially OCD, my sister had a tick like this for maybe a few years then it completely went away. Regardless I don't believe this is like a symptom of some other disorder if you aren't experiencing other symptoms. Are you anxious? If it is causing you a lot of distress I would see a doctor but it is in all likelihood a nervous tick that may take a while to, but will pass
