Sporadic sex urges

So I overall lack the sex drive. Be that as it may, once in a blue moon something will come and then POW! for no apparent reason in aroused. Seems like it is a bit uncontrollable and I don't do anything about it but then suddenly my stomach/pelvic will begin to hurt tremendously. Is that normal for a female?
