Spock from star trek is my soulmate of sorts?

... I understand falling for an actor/character from a movie. Even, feeling a mutual sense of commoradory with what the screen writers are trying to convey... even knowing all these traps, and reasons. I feel like Spock, the essence, is what I could find in my soul mate. I wonder if it is normal to not be disillusioned by just the crush of an actor/character, but see potential of a soul mate in real life by the 'pure essence' of who Spock is.
not just about crush, but that you can sense that person is out there just like Spock,
I guess is it normal to believe that there is an essence of Spock? :/

Is It Normal?

  • Well, the truth is that the race of Spock is actually a race of beings from the Andromedan star system. A man by the name of Alex Collier has claimed to have had a contact with these beings, along with feeling a kinship with them, that he had a former life there. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9SouPQnxLtM This is the original interview from him. I would say try to listen to it and see if you feel a sort of kinship, bcuz you too might have a former life there.

  • If you want to discuss more privately, how can we connect, this website doesn't seem to have "send a private message"? I'd really love to go more indepth with this.

  • I think you are on the correct track here. I have been studying this phenomenon in myself for many years. Had many such "crushes", and I tried to be really brave and admit to it so that I could learn the truth.
What you feel for "Spock" is what you yourself feel for your own soulmate, perhaps there are similarities between the two of them, or perhaps there is another message for you. As many people know, Spock too has a soulmate on Star Trek and this show is a very deep initiatory experience. I agree with the "seed of an idea that came from creative imagination", and I have even met people who likewise parallel this essence. And I perceive any media in this way, too.

    • He is one of the most beautiful, imo. Can you see how you think of your own opinion as universal fact? I understand that he is "ugly", too. (Lol, there was a Star Trek episode on this, about one Kollos and a blind chick). I have experienced this double perception with many spiritual people, because they unsettle the natural balance of what we had, until then, deemed good and bad. This is called the Abject.

  • Hey, it's okay. There are SO MANY people who feel the same way!

As long as we're on this subject, I'm predictable--I love Kirk.

    • Me too, I love Kirk. And Spock... and Kirk and Spock. Lol. But I also love Duncan Macleod and Frodo and... the list goes on.

It's true that many feel the same way, however, not too many understand what they are feeling, and interprete it in different (sometimes incorrect) ways. One has to admit it doesn't appear very clear in the beginning.

  • well, the point I am making is past just the actor/character Spock...
I am talking about the seed of an idea that came from creative imagination, and then moved onto writing and ended up in our reality.
    The essence preceding the existence...
Thats why I wanted to see if it was normal to think this deep about something, but I find I look at any media this way.

  • Yeah, a guy with no emotions or feelings.

You won't need to go far to find someone in real life, if that is what you want!

    • Your comment is so shallow, you do not know what you are talking about at all. You do not know what the character Spock was written as (does have emotions but masks them over), and it's very rude to let your mouth (in this case fingers) run on a subject like this when you are so ill-informed.
