I've never seen a roach outside of a zoo. They look like beetles and act like beetles.
Spiders give me the creeps. They paralyze their victims, then inject them with an enzyme to liquify the insides so that they can suck it all out. I think that's gross.
There are black widow spiders everywhere where I live. It was a bad year for them this year. They move differently, like their butts are too heavy for those long glossy legs.
