  • That's good that you're in good shape but maybe try stretching more too to increase the flexibility of your joints. You probably had pain after yard work from bending or lifting in an improper way that was putting too much strain on your back. Also, good posture in daily life helps, and sitting up straight.

    That said, it still sounds like a lot of pain and it wouldn't hurt to ask a doctor to make sure it isn't something serious.
